Possessing our Promised Land – Capital Campaign
Pastor D. Z. Cofield and the leadership of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church are asking that EVERY member of Good Hope make a sincere commitment towards our “Possessing Our Promised Land” capital campaign. We expect to have 100% of our membership make a pledge and subsequent contribution towards our goal. We believe that as a church family, this is an endeavor that we should all join in and thereby reap the blessings of the promises God has given and will give us. So join in the celebration today as the Family of Hope kicks-off our “Possessing Our Promised Land” capital campaign.

Possessing our Promised Land – The Legacy Continues – Pt. 3
As we celebrate Black History Month, we must be sure to recognize the history of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church and those saints who have sacrificed so much for us. The history of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church is replete with a heritage that has continued for more than one hundred and thirty-eight years. From the humble beginnings underneath a brush harbor to the site that we worship and serve in today on North MacGregor Way, God has inspired countless members of Good Hope to continually reach for the promises He has given us with dedication and sacrifice.
We stand on the foundation of those of our past, from the internationally known pastors and members to those whose commitment may only be known by God, as we strive to propel Good Hope from being a good church, doing a good work, to being a Great Church, doing a Great Work, all for a Great God! We honor the legacy of those who have gone before us, by continuing to press toward “Possessing Our Promised Land.” Just as they were dedicated and made great sacrifices, we must be dedicated and make great sacrifices. The writer of Hebrews urges us…“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…”
