Haiti Relief Effort at Good Hope MBC
During the afternoon of Tuesday, January 12, a devastating earthquake, magnitude 7.0, hit Haiti near the capital of Port-au-Prince. Officials report that the number of injured or dead is estimated to be in the thousands and the damage to homes and buildings is extensive.
In light of the destruction that our brothers and sisters have experienced there in Haiti, the family of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church is reaching out to the American people as we strive to send relief to those in Haiti. The goal of our effort, “Hope to Haiti” is to do as much as we can to minister to our brothers and sisters in Haiti who have experienced such a catastrophic event as this earthquake.
