We will be celebrating Pastor Cofield’s Anniversary on three consecutive Saturday’s which started this past Saturday, May 30th. The celebration will continue on Saturday, June 6th and 13th at 11:00AM in the Fellowship Hall. These will be fun activities with the additional purpose of raising funds that will go towards financing Pastor Cofield’s European Cruise.

SUMMER DAY CAMP Looking for an affordable place to help your child build character, improve literacy and math skills, make friends and have fun? Our summer day camp is just such a P.L.A.C.E for children ages 6-16. Registration is $35 for an individual child, $50 for families, with a weekly tuition of only $75. That cost includes 2 meals, supplies and a camp t-shirt. The camp will run June 15th-August 7th, Monday–Friday from 7AM-6 PM. Space is limited, so register today in the Fellowship Hall!

Rev. Mark Slone
Rev. Mark Slone received his Masters In Theology Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary on May 9, 2009. Rev. Slone, who graduated with High Honors, majored in Pastoral Ministry, concentrating in Pastoral Leadership.
Plans for Rev. Slone’s immediate future include moving into vocational ministry, on a church staff, and ultimately to become a Sr. Pastor. He also plans to continue

Dr. D.Z. Cofield and the Board of Directors introduced Hope Academy 9th through 12th Grade Charter School. Dr. Cofield presented the school’s vision and mission to the community at a breakfast meeting on June 17, 2009. The event was held at The Vue on the Bayou. The school’s administrators: Dr. D.Z Cofield – Superintendent, Raymond Whitley – Executive Principal, and Amber Wilson – Principal.
